Tasveer presents a very special evening with the two-time Academy Award-winning Pakistani director Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy. The program will consist of screening of her Oscar-winning documentary A Girl In The River followed by a conversation with Sharmeen. In addition, there will be a sneak peek into the 13th Tasveer South Asian Film Festival and preview of Sharmeen’s VR films.

A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness: Told through the lens of a love story, this Oscar-winning documentary examines the tensions between modernism and tradition in Pakistan.
