Seattle South Asian Film Festival Expands to Ten Days and Two Locations

SSAFF2013 is expanding to two weekends in October and adding UW Bothell as a location

SEATTLE (August 23, 2013) - Celebrating it’s 8th year, the SSAFF is expanding to two weekends in October as part of the Seattle International Film Festival. Opening weekend will take place October 4-6 as part of SIFF Cinema and continue its celebration throughout the week, ending the festival following weekend October 11- 13th in UW Bothell. 

 

The Seattle South Asian Film Festival received over 75 submissions of films featuring South Asian countries like India for 2013 from all over the world, including three produced by Seattle filmmakers. This year also marks 100 years of Indian cinema and SSAFF will be hosting special workshops, events, and community forums, including many free screenings.
